Light Elements Styling Products

Two new products have been added to Aveda's Light Elements styling product line. Texturizing Creme delivers weightless texture with light hold for all hair types. It gives hair definition and movement with nourishing moisture while reducing fllyaways.  Shaping Wax creates hold with soft texture without relying on synthetic waxes. Aveda has achieved this performance with formulas that are 95% naturally derived. Both products contain amur corktree which adds moisture and a blend of gamma oryzanol (from rice bran) and sasa veitchii (from bamboo) which help to protect hair from UV damage. The light, fresh aroma contains organic essential oils of grapefruit, mandarin, ginger, cinnamon, and sandalwood.

 
Aveda Makeup

Aveda continues to be a frontrunner in the goal to bring greener products to it's salons and customers.With that in mind, Aveda Makeup has been reformulated to be paraben-free.  The beautiful colors in Uruku Bronzers and Petal Essence Face Accents include pigments that are non-petroleum based mineral and plant-derived. Each Bronzer is infused with annatto, a vivid red pigment derived from the seeds of the urukum shrub, organically grown by the Yawanawa people of Brazil. Jasmine and geranium waxes provide petal-soft texture and crease-resistant color to Face Accents. Both products are formulated without talc, parabens, and synthetic pigments.
